There is no Place Like Home - Especially Julington Creek Plantation

Over the summer my family and I were very fortunate to be able to take a week long vacation to the US Virgin Islands.  It was awesome -- crystal clear water, great snorkeling and some great restaurants.  However, when the last day of our vacation arrived, I found I was just as excited to get home as I was to take this trip.  Okay, maybe it had a little something to do with the fact that school was getting ready to start two days later.

But, honestly, I believe it had more to do with the fact that I love living in Julington Creek Plantation.  A sense of community has always been very important to me and living in Julington Creek continuously fulfills this need.  Everywhere we go we see a familiar face -- whether it be on the soccer fields, the library or TCBY.  There is nothing better than going to the grocery store and running into friends and neighbors and suddenly a spontaneous BBQ is planned for the evening.  Although we hope our interactions are based on good times, I have seen on a number of occasions these same people rallying together to help out when someone is in need, be it meals, childcare or carpooling.

Obviously one can't put a price tag on these types of relationships, however, it is the infrastructure of Julington Creek Plantation that helps bring us all together.  Our amenity center is just AWESOME!!  Our pool is like being on vacation with the waterside, kid's splash park and of course, the pool side food and beverage service.  The Friday night Happy Hours by the pool with live music are one big party with residents of all ages and chances to meet new people.  On a beautiful day, I often take advantage of the miles of bike paths -- there is nothing better than a Friday evening bike ride with my family to the ice cream shop!  Needless to say, I could go on and on Julington Creek Plantation.  But, to sum it all up…there truly is no place like home - especially when home is in Julington Creek Plantation.
